What is GateKey?
Gatekey is a web based software solution for gated communities. Gatekey allows residents and community managers to update member and guest information using any web browser. The information is instantly updated on the guard's computer system. Gatekey will also notify the resident via text message to their cell phone when the guest arrives at the community gate.
How Much Does GateKey Cost?
GateKey is available on a simple month to month rental fee. There are no set-up fees or up-front costs. You can start using Gatekey tomorrow for the low prices of:
- 1-99 Homes $65 per month.*
- 100-250 Homes $95 per month.*
- 251-500 Homes $125 per month.*
- 501-1,000 Homes $175 per month.*
- 1,001-1,500 Homes $225 per month.*

What Equipment do I need to Run Gatekey?
Gatekey can be run on almost any computer and only requires a minimal internet connection. GateKey will run fine even over a dial up connection. GateKey will work with most printers, so unless you print thousands of passes a month you don't have to buy expensive commercial label printers. We suggest using Firefox for the Guard browser. If you want GateKey to auto-dial residents for the guards, you will need any standard modem connected to the computer and pay a small one-time license fee for use of the auto-dial system.
How fast is Gatekey?
Gatekey returns search results almost instantly. Gatekey has been designed for speed and efficiency, and runs on some of the fastest servers available. Since Gatekey is designed to have the server do all of the work, the speed of the user's computer or the internet connect is not relevant.
How do I get my information into Gatekey?
Gatekey provides two spreadsheet templates to input your member and vehicle information. If you can provide the member information in a spreadsheet or a coma delimited information, Gatekey's IT department can even import your information at minumal cost.
What kind of information can Gaketkey keep track of?
Gatekey keeps track of your members, their personal and emergency contact information, vehicle and related information, health information, pet information, guest and pass information with complete histories. In additional Gatekey can track up to eight additional items per homeowner (such as pool keys or locker numbers).
Does Gatekey print guest passes?
Yes! Gatekey prints an unlimited amount of different type of passes; Guest, Service, Party and Contractor, etc. Gatekey also puts different instructions on each type of pass.
Does Gatekey handle more than one gate?
Yes! Gatekey even prints out different directions for each gate!
How easy is Gatekey to Use?
Gatekey was designed to be simple and easy to use, yet powerful enough to handle the largest of communities. Both the Resident and Guard interfaces requires little or no training for the majority of features. The community administrator interface can be learned in a matter of hours.
