New Gate Key Plus
Announcing Gate Key Plus, an entirely new visitor management system. The system has been completely re-written from the ground up, maintaining our ease of use while incorporating all of the latest technology and security improvements. If your residents want a mobile app, or if you are using transponders or fobs and want one program to manage your credentials, please consider upgrading to Gate Key Plus.

We are able to migrate account and guest information to the new system, but due to different databases guest history cannot be brought over (the old system will still be accessible for six months after any migration).

We now integrate with hardware from Galaxy Systems, allowing you to manage your transponder tags, fobs, etc. from within Gate Key.

Major upgrades:
- We have added the much requested function of having separate accounts for each resident at the address. You can still have one account that says “Bob & Mary Jones”, or you can create separate accounts for Bob Jones and Mary Jones. If you do create multiple resident accounts under an address you can then allow each of them to have a separate guest list, with separate notifications.
- Passwords are now encrypted, while the admin can create a password for a new resident, once created you will no longer be able to view or send the password. Community Administrators may send a password reset to either an email address or mobile phone that is listed under that resident’s contact information
- You can now create address groups, which allow you to send notifications to groups of homes within your community
- The new, completely native mobile apps provide a number of additional features for your residents. There is a live view function which allows your residents to approve non-planned guests, the guard will send a message to the resident through the mobile app and the resident can approve the guest by simply clicking “approve”, without having to receive a call or email.
- Using the mobile app, residents can use the exclusive “Insta-ID” to prove identity to the guard if arriving in a different vehicle or without other forms of identification.
- Using the optional gate house phone number Guards can now dial directly from the GateKey system to contact residents – even from an Ipad.
- Residents and Administrators can send messages to the guard which will appear anytime the guard accesses their account.
- The system can utilize up to two USB cameras to image a drivers license, and a vehicle, including the license plate, or any two cameras your community may wish to capture. Gate Key offers a custom Drivers License scanner stand and camera.
- Residents will be able to upload photos of themselves into the system to allow the guard to verify their identity on entry.
